For Medical Personnel

As a physician who is interested in helping your patient choose life, we understand that you are not always in a position to spend hours counseling your patients on all of her options and the risks associated with abortion. Also, you may not be in a position to offer every abortion-minded patient a free ultrasound. That’s why we want to partner with you. We’d be happy for you to refer any patient you feel is at risk for an abortion to our center for a free ultrasound and options counseling.

Choices offers pregnancy testing and ultrasound at no cost to our clients. Statistics have shown that when an abortion minded woman is able to have an ultrasound, she is 90% more likely to carry the pregnancy to term. At Choices there are five registered nurses who have been trained in limited obstetrical ultrasound. These scans confirm an intrauterine pregnancy, confirm viability with fetal heart rate and measure gestational age. These are important pieces of information for a client to have before committing to a decision.
